Off to Dakotas for dinner after work, then Saturday to visit Mom in Palm Springs at her place, then Sunday visiting my friend A and see her new company Java Juice Booth at the Anaheim convention center - a busy weekend indeed ! King of Cups Goosed With Java Juice & Flan
serves 6-8

Prep time 30 min
Including chilling 10.5 hrs start to finish
Pre- heat oven to 350
Place oven rack in the center position

You will need-
¾ cups sugar
1 (14 oz.) Can condensed milk (1 ¼)
5 large eggs
4 ½ tsp instant coffee granules dissolved in 4 tsp hot water
1-teaspoon pure vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt

In a small heavy saucepan cook the sugar over moderate heat until it begins to melt. Keep cooking and stir occasionally with a fork until sugar completely melts into a golden caramel color. Immediately pour into a round ceramic dish or glass baking dish. Tilt to coat bottom using caution the dish will be hot. Cool for 10-15 minutes.


Blend remaining ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Pour custard through a fine mesh sieve over the caramel coated dish.
Then transfer dish into a 17x11 inch-roasting pan lined with a kitchen towel.
Cover dish loosely with a piece of foil, then pout enough pour enough boiling hot water. into the roasting pan to reach to reach 1 inch up side of dish.
Bake until custard is set but still wobbly at center when gently shaken and a knife. inserted in center comes out clean 1 to 1 & ¼ hours.

Transfer dish to a rack to cool completely, at least 40 minutes.

Chill.
Hi Everyone out there in Blog land - well, today, I am trying to figure out my color manglement procedure for scanning a color document (printed sheet) and reproducing them. ick. I hate color management. Maybe I will use Enfocus PitStop server. Yeah, thats it.

Today, Monday afternoon, I went home to lunch and discovered that swallows have build nests under my eves and golfers have begun building a condominium under my back yard.

Sunday night - Fired up the smoker last night for my friend Melinda and her Mom (Sharon) it was tastey! CHicken on a smoke - 1.5 hours of letting the smoker smoke it and it is ready and mouth watering ! You must try...



Monday morning - a great start to the week - testing our Plone web site so when people visit our site and "join" ( -- http://www.elan-gmk.com/join_form --) our system automatically sends a welcome letter and suggestes how to get evaluation version of our many software solutions.
