I was at the US Department of State in our nations capital on Thursday, May 15th, 2008 where GPS had an Open House, and I manned a Solution Station where we demonstrated a new On-Site Scanning service.

GPS is like a large scale Kinkos with both digital and traditional print services to the Embassies, with facilities in Washington, Manila, Vienna and Cairo.

GPS now offers a service where they will go on-site to an Embassy and convert rooms full of documents into a mini 'secure' Google.

Here is the brochure describing the services (which I uploaded to Issuu.com)

Here is a link to the slides I designed and presented (as PDF files, of course!)

It was quite a special event for me, where I presented to people who had titles like "Secretary of" with clearance to manage classified documents.
